Org Chart

Hierarchies that carry their performance with them

Visualise organisational structures, reporting lines and process flows as an interactive tree, with KPI status on every node so you can see where the org is off target.

Org Chart

Illustration of the visual's layout.

An org chart answers two questions at once: who reports to whom, and how is each part of the structure performing. The Org Chart visual treats the second as first-class — every node carries a KPI status computed from its value against a target, so a reporting tree doubles as a performance dashboard.

Nodes render parent-child relationships between employees, departments or process steps. Links can be straight or curved, with optional arrows, and the whole tree supports high-contrast mode and keyboard navigation.

Capabilities

  • KPI performance indicators

Each node shows a status derived from variance against target, so weak spots surface without reading a single number.

  • Swimlanes

Group nodes into horizontal or vertical lanes by department, region or any other category.

  • Dual orientation

Switch between left-to-right and top-down layouts to suit the shape of the hierarchy.

  • Expand and collapse

Collapse branches individually or toggle the whole tree, with zoom, fit-to-screen and smooth panning for large charts.

  • Interactive legend

Click a KPI status in the legend to filter the tree down to just the nodes in that state.

  • Photos and accent colours

Bind base-64 images for people or units, and set a per-node accent colour from your data.

How licensing worksNothing is locked — a license removes the on-visual notice.

Free to try, in full
Build, test and demo everything the visual does. No feature is locked or hidden behind a license.
A license removes the notice
Unlicensed visuals show a small notification in published reports, to editors and viewers alike. Licensing removes it.
Licensed per user
Everyone who edits or views the report needs their own license — in practice, everyone you share it with. Assigned by an admin in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
30-day free trial
Activating a trial removes the notification for 30 days, so you can pilot the visual in a real, shared report.
